My Hero

My Legacy Boxer Rescue friend, Terri, heard my plea and came to the rescue! My evil stare at the moms wasn't working to get rid of the cone (they were afraid for their lives, though), but as we speak I am coneless.

Terri called and offered us a medicine that her dog, Buddy, used when he had an ulcer in his eye. It basically makes the eye not hurt, so no rubbing or scratching. We immediately went on a road trip to Terri's house. Dakota came, too! I got to visit with Terri and her two great kids. I love meeting people!

See how happy I look? Don't worry, the moms are still monitoring me VERY closely to make sure I don't rub my eye. I love it - there is nothing better than being up close to the moms at all times. I've been sleeping on mom's lap. She says I'm a little oven! I hope I can stay out of the cone, but the moms promise me they will put it on if I show any signs of bothering my eye. I will have to go to a special eye doctor if it gets worse.
