Then we all packed up in the car for a trip! Yeah! But we never got anywhere. We drove forever with Dakota taking up all the room. Then we waited a little while while the moms went to a meeting. Then we drove back home! Boring!
After we got home, things started looking up. Dakota and I were playing with a stuffed wreath we got for Christmas, but she got freaky and obsessed about the wreath. So once when mom threw the wreath and I picked it up, she bashed into me trying to grab it first. I let it go and then, you won't believe it, my eye was hurt! NOOOOOOOOOOO! The moms knew right away, because I was winking at them.
One of my New Year's resolutions broken already! You know what hurt eye means, right?
Yes, my other eye is hurt, and the cone is back. I just can't take another two weeks of cone! Dakota just stands back and snickers. Can you see her evil-ness?
The moms are hoping it will get better on its own (with antibiotics), but they are going to go ahead and make another appointment with the eye doctor who scratched up my eye less than two weeks ago. Poor, poor me.

OH NO ... not the cone again. I sure hope your eye gets better and you don't have to get it scratched again! Bummer. I'll be crossing my paws for ya!
Well, now you and I are sore eye buddies for different reasons. Let's hope the Anty cream and pills make all the nasty stuff go away for both of us. Paws crossed.
Love and Licks,
Your Sore Eye Buddy,
Texas (and his humans).
My human had a chest infection and she got some of those anti-biotics things and she feels a lot better. I hope that you and your eyes feel a lot better soon. Maybe Dakota would like to wear a sympathy cone to help you get better. My paws are crossed for you too.

Maybe you should wear doggles when playing around Dakota. That way your eyes can't get hurt. Sending blue heeler healing thoughts your way!

Geeze Cubby, your eyes look like they really hurt. I hope they get better really soon because I hate to see my handsome boyfriend in pain!
Listen, about pooping in the rain. The first time Mom made me do that I was like, "You want me to go out in that??? Now?". So I made her walk me with an umbrella over me while she got soaked. The next time, she didn't fall for it and she shoved my butt right into the yard. But let me tell you, Cubster, it ain't nuthin' compared to pooping in a foot of snow and not even being sure where you left it!
Oh cubbs. I hope the other eye starts to feel better really soon.
aaargh the cone AGAIN?! is it scratched or just hurting?
Oh poor cubby, are you feeling better now? I mean your eye, not with that cone. We will never OK with that stupid cone....
hmm....mayb you should get glasses, a big glasses that can cover & protect your eyes...
Oh, poor Cubby. One of the friends Tansy meets at the park in the morning--Edison the Wheaton Terrier--has the same eye problem as you. We are just very sorry that you have to wear that cone and hope it;ll get better soon.
We don't so much mind pooping in the rain, but I know it's hard on your short-coats.

Hi Cubby!

But I am sure we are getting rid of the cone VERY VERY SOON :)
Wear the lampshade proud, buddy!

Poor Cubby.
I sympathise with you in your cone-ness.
Chow for now,
Tin Tin xo
Dang! That just sucks! Poor Cubby... and Dakota should be ashamed of herself for snickering. It's not funny Dakota! I hope your eye heals real fast all on it's own, Cubby.
Big Wags,
Isabella
I bet a great big chew bone will help your eye! Dogmom said she mailed it today. Lucky for you, you get to wear the silly cone instead of the freaky basket mask that Gomer had to wear when he had surgery on his mouth!
(Just tryin to look on the bright side...)
