Saturday and Eddie

The brindle plan came together this weekend, and I had a great time.

Saturday morning we got up early. My leg was very sore, and I was limping around. Then it was time to go to the vet. I wanted to put on a good show for him, so as soon as the moms put my leash on, I started dancing around like a new pup. I didn't limp at all at the vet's office. I'm sure he thought the moms were loony (ha ha ha)!

He did give me a big shot of steroids in my butt, which made my leg feel better and made me need to potty all day, but the moms were pretty good about taking me out over and over and over again.

After the vet, we went to the Legacy Boxer Rescue pet fair, and I was very good and polite, except when I tried to scare Tristan, the one-eyed-wonder Shih-Tzu and I barked at Sparkles, the little boxing Shih-Tzu and I lunged at Phoebe, the little boxer/lab puppy. That's me below, looking for more small dogs to terrorize...

Besides terrorizing all the little ones, I got to kiss many Legacy volunteers. They love me.

On the puppy front, the naming auction is over, and so far, no one has come forward to name all the boy puppies after me. The official names aren't in yet, though. Except I have found out from inside sources that the yellow boy puppy might be called Eddie.

Oh, Eddie is so cute with his little pink feet and his cute pink nose! I'm just certain he'll grow up to be a cool boxer like me - maybe he'll even get his own blog.

Tomorrow, I'll tell you about today at Cousin Dude's house. I can't blow all the good stories in one post, you know! I'm going to nap now. It's been a busy busy weekend!

Well, it's OBVIOUS to US, Cubby, that the only reason you were terrorizing the little dogs was cuz your leg hurt. Otherwise, you woulda been the perfect gentlemen, right?

Hope you're better. We wuf the puppies!
