Yep, that's Dakota, refusing to go any further on our walk, after less than 100 yards. The same girl that refuses to go home when it's 30 degrees and pouring rain, will not walk on a beautiful sunny day. It's the first time she's refused to walk since it cooled off in the fall, so I guess summer is officially here. Dakota is my own personal groundhog of summer.
I was really enjoying the walk, and stopped to smell the roses, and for a photo op. Yeah for summer!
In case you were worried, the house is not leaking, it is not raining, and our house is nice and cool with our newly charged air conditioner. I also got to go on a great home visit today. I'll tell you about it tomorrow. Happy summer!

Hey Cubby, we are glad we are having the chance to catch up on what's going on in your life. We have so many entries to read but we had to get to our best friends first. Mom worried about you guys when DFW was getting pounded by the storms. Glad to see everyone is high and dry.
