Last Day Revisited

We are all sad here without Magoo. I have been napping all day in my depression - there's nothing else to do. Mom is watching the MDA telethon online (since our sucky local stations won't show it). Dakota is enjoying getting to scratch without being jumped. The other mom is looking at Magoo pictures and sniffling.

Of course Magoo spent his last day here being spoiled and acting extra cute. Here are some pictures from the last day.

He took his last snooze on the big dog bed. He was always either hogging the big dog bed or "sharing" it with me.

Then his ball rolled under there, so he dove in to get it. I guess he's not afraid of the dark...

We took our last midnight walk together. Dakota naturally had to mess up the only picture that actually showed the front of Magoo's face. She thinks she's so funny. Mostly Magoo was trying to grab my leash the entire time.

Mom tried to take a pretty final portrait, but Magoo just wanted to play. She finally thought she got one, but if you look closely, he's sticking out his little tongue!

What a little clown. His new mom sent us an email this morning to let us know he is doing fine. She also mentioned she wanted to let the little guy start a blog. Hopefully she will do that, so we can be blogging buddies!

Awww...I am so happy that Magoo found a home but I'm sorry that you guys are sad. Bittersweet, huh? Well, you're nice to let someone else have a little Magoo in their lives!

Everyone in your house needs and deserves special snackables tonight!

Wally is right. We are glad Magoo found a good forever home but we don't want you to be sad. Your moms are great people to foster when they know they will have to deal with the sadness mixed in with happiness for saving and homing a special dog. Our mom failed fostering.

Oh yay -a blog for Magoo - it should be a requirement when a doggie finds it's forever home that a blog is part of the deal! Don't be too sad - maybe he can come visit sometime.

That's great that Magoo found a home. How funny that both of our fosters went to their furever homes on the same weekend!! Sorry we've been behind on your blog. We've been so busy with Ulee that we haven't had a lot of time. We'll catch up now though!!

Some touch our lives furever. You gave Magoo a great start on his new life. Think how much he will enrich the lives of his new family from all that you have taught him.
I agree with Wally-good snackables all around.

Dear Cubby,

How delightful that Magoo now has his Forever Home! I too had to leave my Foster Home with Fun dog friends. And we have seen Foster Dogs leave our care. Most quite enjoyed their Time with our Flock, but were Happy to have Forever Home. Perhaps you may save Another Dog soon!

Best,
Tansy

Hi there...

Need a hand... am rallying for supporters for a SILENT Protest this Sunday in a bid to Stop the Dog Hunt organised by MPS (a local council). Please tell your friends who are animal lovers in Malaysia to visit http://cleopatrathelabrador.blogspot.com for details.

Thanks a million

Hey that would be fun if Magoo had a blog. That's one reason we started Charlie's blog -- so his former family could stay in touch with him.
