Yesterday I got to spend the day with Dude! It was warm and sunny - a little weird for February, but I'll take sunny and warm any time of year!
Mom went to the Legacy Boxer Rescue adoption fair, while Dakota and I helped the other mom and Grammy operate on the injured stuffies. Here's the stuffy hospital!
Dakota was such a baby. She only wanted to play with the stuffies that were on the operating table. Once they were off the table, she didn't want them.Mom went to the Legacy Boxer Rescue adoption fair, while Dakota and I helped the other mom and Grammy operate on the injured stuffies. Here's the stuffy hospital!
Mom did get some good pictures of her since it was so sunny. Mom says it's hard to get good pictures of a black dog anyway, and Dakota makes it harder by squinting when the flash goes off.
There were also lots of pretty flowers to sniff. They were enjoying the warmth and sunshine, too.
For some strange reason, Dakota loved sitting on the monkey grass. I understand pooping in the monkey grass, but why sit in it?
Look what a happy day I had! Yeah, sun! Yeah, Dude! Yeah spending all day with mommy!
I spent the day running, barking at squirrels, eating Texas Trash, and guarding Dude's yard! Dude needs a break sometimes!
I also spent some time resting and napping in the sun. I love the sun - I should be a surfer!
Last time I went to Dude's, I got in trouble by the Dachsies for not showing his picture! So here he is in all his very long glory!
I have only one complaint about the weekend. I was bidding to name Orange Girl. I was going to name her Cairo, after my beautiful girlfriend. However, after I went to sleep, someone outbidded me! That would have been an awesome Valentine's gift.

It's the thought that counts :) Thanks Cubby!
My parents did not get the 5 month boy boxer :( They really wanted him.
Someday I will get a brother. I just wait and wait. Glad you had such a great day yesterday.
Cairo
Oh that would have been the best valentine's gift. I hope all the stuffies got repaired and it looks like you had a great time at dude's house.
We had a great sunny day here too, but no stuffies were handed out to us! your Mom is nice to fix them, my Mom just trashes them.
It be really mild and sunny here too, whee!

What a great time you had. We had some sun here, but not like what you got. Grammie does stuffie surgery also. She even does amputations. Sorry about losing your bid.
When Buddha is finished with a stuffie, there is nothing remaining on which to operate. I wish.
You look like you had a great day. Our Nana's hospital is reeeally slow, maybe we can hire your Grammy.
Those are really good pics of Dakota. :)

Wow, sounds like you had a nice sunny day! I wish it were sunny over here.
Too bad you were outbidded. :( I also like the name Cairo.

We think you are underestimating Dakota. It looks like she was letting the monkey stuffie sit on the monkey grass. She's very smart to put those two together.

Hi, Cubbie-
So great to meet you. I had no idea there was such a thing as a stuffie hospital. The stuffie carnage in our house rivals a M.A.S.H. hospital scene from the Civil War: there isn't enough triage to save these little animals after Ari gets a hold of them!
We like the monkey grass too for our bathroom duties.
Hey Cubby! Looks like you had a fun and busy weekend!
Where is monkey now?
Happy valentines day.
Lots of love Simba x
Hey---I see a little weenie dog like I have (well, almost like I have). I can't wait to sunbathe...if the sun would only shine around here long enough to get a nap in!
Peace + Paws,
Zen
DUDE! Thanks for letting us see him again. He is a very handsome fellow.
