We are in Second Place!

Legacy Boxer Rescue is in second place to win $10,000. We really need your help to spread the word.

This week alone we have rescued two poor hairless puppies and a gunshot victim, in addition to many other boxers.

This is Prada. She is 3 or 4 months old, and has no hair at all. She has demodectic mange, and her skin is so thin and delicate right now, the grass hurts her feet.

This is Yahtzee. She is 8 months old, but is so small, she is the size of a 3 month old. She is emaciated in addition to having mange.

And this is poor Magnum. He was shot by his next door neighbor. He is recovering well, despite being shot in the neck.

These babies require a lot of medical care, and we could really use the money. Please help me spread the word. Here is the page where you can get the code to put on your blog:

I have a mix feeling when i saw this. I dont get it when
people do this. Why do they get to abandon pets or worse shot
them? Are they gettin enough trouble yet. Luckily they are now in good hands. Congratualations!

Hi,

These poor dogs have such amazing spirits. I just don't know how Magnum can sit there with his neck absolutely bleeding, with a stifling towel around his neck, and smile. He’s smiling!

They’re so beautiful in spirit often.

We have to keep in mind that while many people are cruel, many people are like you! Taking care of these precious souls. So, let’s stay optimistic, and I hope that you get all of the support you need to continue on.

Poor Yahtzee. I will definitely have to check back regularly to see how she’s doing. I’m sure your love for her will help to relieve any physical pains she’s having… Keep up the good work. I know the pain of seeing animals suffer. You are truly special to persevere in helping these precious dogs….
