Things are going pretty well here. I'm getting this totally delicious canned food several times a day. Mom hand feeds me. I am the king of this joint!
The moms take me walking any time I want. No waiting until the end of the show they are watching.
I can't go up the stairs, so mom sleeps downstairs with me. If I want to sleep on the dog bed, she sleeps on the couch. If I want to sleep on the couch, she sleeps on the dog bed - lol.
I started doing the kidney bean for the moms last night - we have to throw the moms a bone sometimes. For those of you who don't have boxers (why you don't, I'm not sure), the kidney bean is this boxer thing where we curl ourselves up and dance around. It's a happy dance. Here's today's kidney bean.
Yesterday I went to back to the vet to get my port out (I'm not sure what a port is, but they had this thing stuck to my leg with tape around it). The whole vet staff was excited to see me and they all said how great I look. I'm not sure why they were so impressed - they've seen my handsome self many times.
Today, I did my first play bow since the surgery. I also kicked up some grass after my potty. I am feeling much better.
And I know all the ladies want to see my manly scar. I should get the staples out next week.
You can't keep this boxer spirit down! Thanks to Dr. Cox for doing my surgery, Dr. Wright for my post surgical care, and Dr. Epstein for my follow-up visit!! You guys are awesome!

Cubby, you have no idea how fond of you your fans in NY are. Glad to hear that you are coming along.
I'm glad to hear you're doing well, Cubby. You're one lucky guy.
I know how to do the kidney bean, too. I add a special butt wiggle to mine--it's the Belgian in me.
