Dakota Update

I'm not sure what's going on with the old girl, but even I am worrying now.  Dakota started limping last week on a front foot.  She went to the vet on Monday, but Dr. E said she had to come back for x-rays on Tuesday.  She was gone all morning Tuesday, and when she came home, mom had more medicine for her.  That girlie is a regular drug fiend!  Mom says she has spondylosis in her neck.  So we are starting with adding a second pain medicine.  She was already taking pain medicine and muscle relaxers for her back trouble, so it is troublesome that those meds aren't keeping her from limping.

The most worrisome thing to mom is that she's not eating normally.  Usually, she's an eating machine!  But watch this!




Hopefully, when the moms figure out a medicine schedule that works, her tummy will settle down.  They are hoping it's her tummy and not that eating is hurting her.  She even turned down peanut butter yesterday!

The most worrisome thing for me is that I can't get her to play!  I keep trying to tempt her with toys, but so far, it's a no-go.  Come on, Sissy, perk it up!
