The moms are super worried about this - taking away pain medicine when she's in pain doesn't seem good. Then, after her tummy has a chance to rest and recover, we are supposed to try a new pain medicine. We have to wait at least a week.
This morning when we came downstairs, Dakota was drooling and asking to go outside. Drooling means bad tummy, and sure enough, what she wanted was not to potty, but to graze and graze. Too bad the grass is a little pitiful since it's winter. After we came back in, Dakota would only eat canned food. She refused to eat regular dog food at all.
I'm shooting boxer vibes at you, Dakota! You better get better soon!

Poor Dakota...I truly hope she gets better quickly. Your fans in NY are holding good thoughts for her!
Best wishes to Dakota.
Do you think Stonyfield Yogurt (the organic kind with probiotics) would help a little with the stomach?
I give a generous teaspoonful to Buddha (55lbs) per day when he is poorly.
We had been giving her some yogurt, because she just came off of a round of antibiotics for a bacterial infection in her stomach. She is also taking a liquid medicine (that I took after my bloat) that is supposed to coat her tummy and soothe it. They think the bacterial infection was caused by the compromised stomach. Ugh. Poor girl.
woofs, me hope Dakota feels better soon...mama says antibotics makes her tummie sick too sumtimes...

Oh, poor Cubby. Oh, wait, I mean poor Dakota.
I know all about the bad tummies, it sucks. We are sending lots of healing vibes.
