New Duds

I got a new harness today! Don't I look smashing?

The moms say it will keep me from pulling so hard. We'll see. Really, I am quite the gentleman on the leash. That is, unless I see a cat or an armadillo (or a dog or a person or a bird or a possum or some trash...). Then who wouldn't pull on the leash? They should let me chase little animals, anyway!

Sadly, my armadillo friend got run over by a car last weekend, so he doesn't run so fast anymore. He just lays there on the street. It makes me sad. The moms still won't let me go catch him. Darn!

Wow you look good. Cubby I think I have a crush on you. But can I ask a silly boxer question? Why do you always have a harness on in all your pictures? Just wondering thats what we boxers do best.

The moms like to keep my harness on so that if I get lost somehow, I will have tags on. They are a little over-protective that way. But with the new walking harness, they are thinking of buying me a smashing green collar to hold my tags.

You look very handsome! We have collars and harnesses too. Mom only keeps the harnesses on us if we go somewhere and she wants to make sure she can grab us if we get ... what was that word .... rambunctious. Usually we just wear our collars. We also have HomeAgain implants just in case ...

Cubby, thanks for the info. Your moms are smart! My parents leave me collar-less all day and they only put a collar when we go out. Maybe I should tell mom to keep it on all day so if I were to ever get lost someone would find me right away. After all I have lots more blogging to do.

I only wear a collar- a bright pink one that Mike picked out for me. I am going to be micro-chipped when I am spayed, and Linda is going to get a tag made for my collar.
You look quite smashing in your harness- is it comfortable?

Cubby - wow, you are just like me but in the macho version. I have the same desire to chase and pull on the leash only I live in Beverly Hills so I chase pigeons, rabid squirrels, crazy ladies with blue hair and expensive little dogs - and yes, trash too. What is that harness called that you have on? It looks a lot more comfortable than mine.
