They Doubt Me

The mommies should know better than to doubt my hunter's instincts.

We went on our usual walk tonight and I told them that something was in the bushes the first time around the building. I told them again the second time. They called me crazy.

The third timearound, they decided to let me go closer, to convince ME that nothing was there. HA! Mr. Armadillo was digging under the bushes! I heard him from a mile away. I went nutso when I saw him. I had a few choice words for that guy, but I'll spare you since some of you might be puppies. We also saw a cat tonight - I gave him the loud talking to also.

With all the excitement, I was inspired with a new move. You can see it in the photo. I stand there "getting sprinkled," while I secretly scan the woods for bunnies, possums, cats, and armadillos. The mom thinks that I'm cute when I stand there in the sprinklers and I get a good long look at the trees. Now if I can just figure out how to get this leash off...

Mommies should learn to trust us doggies. We are master hunters as you have shown them. If it wasn't for you, your mommies wouldn't be protected from those armadillos! But we don't really understand being so close to the sprinklers. Those are for barking at too!

Wow- I wish I was as brave as you on the night time walks. I'm too scared to enjoy it and get into hunting. I am afraid that something in the dark is hunting me!

We are pretty interested in this armadillo creature. We don't armadillos here in Kansas. I would think me and my sister would like to meet one!

Hey Cubbydog,

Armadillo. Yum.

Cats. Yum....after a good chase.

Garden sprinklers: great on a hot day.

Garden hoses: evil bath-causing things.

Chow for now,

Oh Cubby,

When I have a horrible day, I just come to your blog. You always put me in a better mood. Keep up the good blogs and good luck with the armadillo!

Cubby- do you live in Austen Texas? My human dad's sister lives there. She is a judge. She unfortunately is misguided and has cats.

Hey cubby, this is Cairo's mom from Argentina. Did you know they have armadillos here too! We thought of you right away when we saw them. Talk to you soon. We will be back next week
