I need someone to take me out of this terrible place! This afternoon, my eye started to hurt. The moms tried to make an appoinment with the vet, but couldn't get one until tomorrow. After dinner, my bottom eyelid swelled up and the moms took me to the emergency vet.
The vet said I had an ulcer. She said I have to wear this thing on my head for a week. Is it not bad enough that my eye hurts? You can see me squinting my left eye.
Now I am stuck in the middle of the room, and I can only walk backwards. I can't turn my head of go forward. I finally managed to sit down, but I can't lie down or get up on the couch. There's no way I could poop in this thing.
I need help!

Those things scare me! When Comet first came to live with me, he was wearing one of those things. I thought he had a giant head and I refused to go anywhere near him. Hopefully your people will take it off of you for a little while each day. But if they do, you have to promise not to rub or scratch at your eye.
oh no that thing sucks!! you cant smash it into stuff and be a menace and then get it off????
Poor Cubby! We've each had to wear that thing. It really gets around and tortures all of our friends. That's going to be a real problem if you can't poop while you are wearing it. We hope you eye gets all better soon so you can feel better and get rid of that thing!

Poor Cubby :-( I am on my way to rescue you from the dreaded cone ! But on the other paw - your mum's are only trying to make sure you get better soon, so maybe you had best keep it on ? Anyway you sniff it - you need some more treats to get you through this time !

Cubby, you poor thing! I had to wear one once, but I kept smashing my head into the wall so my Mom gave up and took it off...I don't recommend that technique, however: I had a headache for days.
