I had a breakthrough! I have conquered the cone, and am now using it to my advantage!
The cone protects me from Dakota's attacks!
It is like a deflector shield!
Yet, it does not prevent me from attacking her!
In fact, I can even use it as a weapon against her and the moms!
Backs of the knees, beware my cone!
I have even mastered sleeping in the cone - or am I plotting your demise...?

Well, Cubby, you certainly look like you are feeling better. We are glad to see it. Don't get too used to that cone, though. You are so much better looking without it.

hehehehe - there's more than one way to skin a cat, right Cubby! I'm so glad you're feeling better. I'll be visiting your blog again. You're sure a handsome boy!
Hugs to you,
Maggie
Cubbie: great to see you looking better (no pun). I had to wear a cone when I had "that" operation, cause I tried to lick certain sensitive areas, and being a terrier, I carried it too far. I found that you can scoop things up in the cone and then fling them away, almost like playing fetch with yourself. Other than that, there are NO redeeming social characteristics to cones.
Arf! Take out your frustrations. Wish Lady and I could , grr.
Keep getting better

Whoa, Cubby! We had no idea that you were having problems with your eye! It's a good thing you've got good moms that are on top of those kinds of things and are willing to spend some of their money to help fix it! (Kinda like our dogmom spent so much on our broken teeth this last year.) I know our teeth feel lots better now, so hopefully your eye will too. Wuf Ya - Gomer, Opie and Dogmom at DogsAyeView...
Hey Cubby, I met you over at Gomey and Opie's place. I hope you are feeling better. I had one of those cone head things once but the joke was on them because even though I had their longest cone, my nose was still longer than the cone.So mom gave up on it the first day. Anyways, You're a real handsome dude. Mom loves Boxers and one of my boyfriends is a Boxer. His name is Sinatra and we run together sometimes. He drools all over me though but I don't care. What's a little slobber among friends, right?
you are too smart!! what a great way to turn lemons into lemonade.
Congratulations on mastering the cone. Your fighting form is exceptional.
Hi Cubby,
Good to see you are on the mend! "You've been tagged" - check out our latest blog entry.

I am so glad you are doing better.
Hi Cubby, I hope your eye is getting better! Cones are just the worst... glad you are okay with it for now.
Hey Cubbie - That cone looks like a lot more fun that the freaky basket I had to wear when I had surgery on my mouth! (until, of course, I figured out how to chew the strap off so I couldn't wear it any more!) tee hee.

Yes, high paw, Cubby!! Way to use the cone to your advantage. You definitely look a lot happier now.. I'm glad your eye is better. Somebody better let Dakota know that she's gotta give you a break while you've got the cone on.. or else maybe the Mums can put that other cone on her again, hehehehe.
Remember, when grasped at the correct angle, cones can also make great chew toys!
Cheerio!
Dudley
Guess you'll have better antenna ;)
