Crazy LBR Day (2AOM-thon, Day 9)

Yesterday was a crazy day. The moms went off to the Legacy Boxer Rescue pet fair and left me home alone (well, with Dakota). I was pretty mad until someone came in the door. It was Jennifer, the babysitter! We had a great time.

The moms did too, and guess who they saw! Dora! There were lots of boxers there. Two even got adopted. But it was great that they saw Dora. They can't believe she hasn't been adopted - she was hilarious! This is her "I'm gonna whoop you" look.

Hahaha! Now she says, "Just kidding!" She is only 6 years old, has a great sense of humor, loves kids and big dogs. And she has springs in her feet. She bounces up and down on all four feet.

I'm a little annoyed that she seems to be sitting in my mom's lap, though. That's my spot.

My good friend and volunteer Cheryl gave Dakota a cool motorcycle toy. I'm not sure why I didn't get anything, but that's how it goes, I guess.

Dakota loved her toy. She loved it to death, in fact. This is what it looks like now. It's a dog toy cornucopia.

Then last night we went on a home visit. It was two very nice people. They liked me so much, they decided they needed an older dog instead of a puppy. I'm great at my job. Puppies are difficult - not charming like me.

They had a great deck. It was so high, I could see over the fence and across the street. I'm telling you, I could really use a high perch like that to keep an eye on the neighbors.

Today's ornament is a dog, too. The famous Snoopy doing a magic trick. I do have to say, if I could do this trick, I would never go hungry again. I'm jealous of Snoopy's talent.

Mom says it is not really a bunny coming out of the hat. It's Woodstock in a bunny suit. I say it makes no difference. I would eat a bird in a bunny suit. No prob.

Oh maybe those people will adopt dora since they now want an older dog. That would be neat. Your mom's must spend a ton on toys for Dakota. Oh and woodstock would just be an appetizer for you Cubby not a meal.

OH MY Dora is such a cutie, and talented if she can hop on all four feet. I hope she finds her forever family soon.

I love all my toys to death too, hee hee

Dora is sooo cute! I love that face she's making. With luck, she'll find her forever family in no time. Dakota must tear through a lot of toys. She's almost as bad as me! :)

Ma is happy to see new photos of Dora, but is sad that she hasn't been adopted. We wish we could come over to pick her up!

Dora is soooo cute. Not as cute as you of course, but still.

Great job on convincing them to get an older dog. We're the best by far.
