After 13 days alone in the cold wet wilderness, Cami has finally come home to Legacy Boxer Rescue! Here she is this morning, happy and warm in the arms of the group who loves her!
Cami was adopted just a week before her disappearance. She was frightened away from her adoptive family at their lake house. LBR went into high gear, and many amazing volunteers took a road trip down there to search for her, but no luck. They posted hundreds of fliers last Sunday, and that night got a call from a wonderful couple who had been seeing Cami every day. She was terrified, and would not come to them.
LBR's wonderful volunteers took another road trip to wait for her to appear on Monday, but again, no luck. One more road trip to set up a trap, but no luck. Until this morning! Cami was caught! A final joyful early morning road trip, and Cami came home!
I am so happy! I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing group who worked so hard to bring this girl home. Thank you especially to Dana, who made the long trip five times and Tina, who went three times. Thanks a million to the couple who contacted us about Cami, searched for her, and monitored the trap. They wouldn't even take the reward! Thanks also to the big group of volunteers who papered the area with fliers, and went door to door to save Cami!
I am doing the HAPPY DANCE! I love that Cami, and I love our amazing group! Welcome home, sweet girl!

Oh what a scary journey! Thank you to the whole gang. What dedication to finding this gal. And, what kindness from folks who had not previously been involved with Legacy. We're joining you in the happy dance. Mom will take pics for you to see very soon.
