As you already know, LBR has been extremely busy this year saving boxers in need. Unfortunately for them and LBR, many of those boxers in need have needed extensive vet care, causing LBR to currently be facing a dilemma with our financial status.
We have brought in $55,522.13 in 2008 through adoptions, fundraising events and generous donations from people like you. That is an awesome number until you look at the amount we have spent in that same time period. $61,151.86 has been spent on vet care, medications, food andother basic needs for the boxers in our care. So, while many boxers have been saved in 2008, to continue doing so, we need to make up that substantial deficit in order to stay in business.

It's been a rough year for boxers here in Texas. We've saved a bunch of them, but they just keep coming into shelters.

We are always happy to help in honor of our nephew Peanut. You do such good work with the boxers how could we not want to assist. I am making Grammie head over to paypal now.
Mom says she will send money tomorrow when dad gets paid. We wish we were in Texas so we could foster a doggie.

Thanks for all you do, Cubby. I just dug out Mom's credit card...I wanted to max it out, but Mom said we haven't won the lottery yet. When we do, we'll remember Legacy. In the meantime, I hope our contribution will help a little bit.
