Back in the Saddle

After two and a half weeks of leisure, the moms decided I was well enough to get back to work. I'm a few pounds lighter, but that just makes me more handsome!

Sunday I did my first post-surgical home visit for Legacy Boxer Rescue, and it was lots of fun. The people were very nice, and they must have had all green fingers, because their yard was great! Soft grass, bunny statues, a pond, and a terrific smelling grill and smoker! Whew!

The lady was very nice - she got on the floor with me and let me smooch her, and found some toys for me. The man found some nummy blueberry and bison treats, and gave me a BUNCH! Yay! They were delicious - he even let mom take some home for me (I had to share with Dakota). He loved the spit bubbles I made for him.

Before I sign off, I need to give big thanks to Moco and Grammie for making a terribly generous donation to Coconut! (I hope they don't mind that I stole their photo - don't you love that super-cool toy?)

Coconut says thanks, and she loves you guys! She continues to improve from her distemper - here is a message from her foster mom:

Coconut is doing fairly well. She is eating about 5 times a day. No problems keeping it down. She is still wobbly on her feet but motors around pretty good considering. She has been trying to play some, but tires quickly. Her head bobbles constantly but it's calmed from what it was in the beginning. I would say she is doing pretty good overall, but only time will tell. Fingers crossed that she won't have any lasting neurological effects from this. Thanks and please keep those prayers coming.
Keep getting better, Coconut!

Glad to see that you are feeling well enough to go on visits and get all those yummy treats.
We were glad to be of some help to Coconut. Healing vibes are being sent out at this moment for both of you.
