The Return of Voodoo Cubby

Now, I have to tell you, I have new hope that I may soon get a visit from the cable guy.  Some of you may recall my past Charter expoits:  Voodoo Cubby and Voodoo Cubby Ruins the Mentalist.

I think it is inevitable that the cable will be disconnected.  My voodoo powers have come back into play - I can feel the power flowing through me.

Now, every time the moms get communication from Charter, they get a different story.  Here's the timeline...

• February - Mom went in person to pay the cable bill.  She was told that we owe nothing.  Weird.
• March - Mom got a letter from Charter saying they owe two months of cable.  OK, no prob.
• March - Mom pays the double bill, and keeps the receipt close by.  Duh.
• April - Mom receives a disconnect notice.  Uh oh.  Storms-a-brewin'
• April - Mom calls Charter and is told she owes nothing, and to ignore the disconnect notice.  LOL
• April - Mom laughs maniacally and calls back immediately.  She is told she owes the double amount, but they find (at mom's suggestion) that - lo and behold - she magically has two accounts.  One account balance is $46.  The other is -$46.  My voodoo power is obvious. 
• April - The customer service people tell her they will take care of it - no problem.  Yeah, right.
• April - Mom emails important Charter people, who are amazed at the amount of trouble the moms have had.  They underestimate my voodoo power.
• This morning - Mom receives two email statements eight minutes apart.  One says we owe $84 IMMEDIATELY.  The other says we have a $46 credit.  I can't wait to hear the next phone call!
